


OstroVit Vitamin D3 4000 IU + K2 combines, in each tablet, 100 mcg (4000 IU) of vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol, 2,000% NRV) with 100 mcg of vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (MK-7) from Bacillus subtilis natto (133% NRV).
Vitamin D and vitamin K contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Vitamin D contributes to normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus, to normal blood calcium levels, to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, to the maintenance of normal muscle function and to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin K also contributes to normal blood clotting.
Note on the dose: 100 mcg (4000 IU) of vitamin D per day corresponds to the tolerable upper intake level (UL) set by EFSA for adults. Do not combine with other supplements containing vitamin D, and preferably use with the advice of a health professional.
